According to
AAA, a record 36 million people will hit the road this Independence
Day weekend (defined as June 30 – July 4), driving to their holiday
destination. That’s an increase of 1.2 percent over 2015. And this year,
Pilot Flying J is making Independence Day travel easier than ever for drivers.
From now through July 7, guests are
invited to take advantage of the Pilot Flying J Thungry promotion,
which was created to provide choice and variety to customers. The
Thungry promotion offers guests any king size candy bar or XXVL
Frito Lay bag for $1, with the purchase of a non-alcoholic beverage.
And to make sure travelers
have a comfortable and clean place to stop when they need to, Pilot
Flying J recently invested $50 million to renovate its restrooms.
Restroom upgrades include LED lighting,
eco-friendly hand dryers, Italian tile accents, low water consumption
toilets and more.
