Book Nook: The Little Elephant Who Wants to Fall Asleep

Bedtime can be tough. Both of my girls have gone through phases where they had a hard time falling asleep. For my younger one, it was out of stubbornness and defiance; for my older one, she still has a hard time turning her brain off.

I got to review a book that's designed to help that, The Little Elephant Who Wants to Fall Asleep. The book is designed for parents and caregivers to read to kids, and has reading suggestions to help read the book in a soothing cadence, and personalize it for kids. It even has a section for FAQs to help make the book more useful for families.

The book is fairly long, so it's keeps continuing for kids who still take a while to fall asleep. It also helps provide parents with variety, as the soothing guided imagery is throughout the book, so parents can pick up where they left off the night before if they want to. The illustrations are beautifully done and appropriate to the calm feeling of the book. It's a great option for any kids who struggle to fall asleep.
