Book Nook: Project Droid

I recently had a chance to review two fun new chapter books from Sky Pony Press - Project Droid. In Science No Fair, Logan Applebaum's mother announces that she's going to build a new robot cousin, Java. Java is smart but doesn't quite fit in. However, Logan is still excited, because Java might be his ticket to a science fair ribbon - until a pair of twins in his class steal him as their partner. In Soccer Shocker, Java joins the soccer team and quickly becomes the star, causing Logan's jealousy to get out of hand.

Both books are fun reads from Nancy Krulik (author of the Katie Kazoo series) with her daughter Amanda Burwasser. Fans of Katie Kazoo will find the same type of crazy happenings in this series, with a kid-friendly plot and parent-friendly resolutions to the conflicts. My daughters really enjoyed reading them!
