I recently had the chance to read The Blue Satin Nightgown by Karin Crilly. It's a fun, inspiring book to encourage anyone to make their dreams come true. At 78, this widow decided to act on her long-standing dream of living in France. She didn't know anyone there, and didn't know the language or culture, but she did it anyway.
She gets established in a quaint village in France, despite her initial lack of knowledge, and her confusion about some of the cultural norms. The book is humorous, joyful, and inspiring - and includes some tasty French recipes as well!
