Consumer Critique: Watchitude

I recently had a chance to review a watch from Watchitude, a site that sells watches designed for kids ages 4-12. It's perfect, because we're starting to let my younger daughter now be independent and go to a friend's house and be back home on time. The "Build It" watch was perfect for her, since she loves to play with Legos and doesn't really like things that are girly.

The watches are fun to wear, small enough that it was comfortable for her slender wrist, and readable (after a little practice with telling time). It's a great way to help kids feel more responsible and grown up, by giving them a watch of their own and making them responsible for some small time-based task.

Features:

  • Zinc-alloy cases with glass crystal and quartz movements make Watchitudes extremely durable
  • Water-resistant and splash-proof, these wristwatches can withstand rain, sweat and splashing
  • Brilliant photographic quality printing and durable glossy finish with new patent-pending technology
  • SGS-Certified safe for kids and 100% lead-free
  • Easy setup and a one-year, replaceable standard watch battery

They've got watches for every taste: superheroes, candy, camo, sports and activities, and more. It's a great gift for the kid in your life!
