Enriching Education: February Story Monsters Ink

When we were kids, LeVar Burton told us we could go anywhere and be anything. Take a look … it’s in a book. Today, he’s capturing the hearts and imaginations of a whole new generation with his Reading Rainbow app. LeVar tells us how books were an integral part of his own childhood, the turning point of his career, and what his favorite show was as a child.

With nearly 2.3 million subscribers to his channel, Daily Bumps, Bryan Lanning is a YouTube sensation. Bryan talks about his remarkably popular vlog that follows his family through the ups and downs of life and his first full-length album called Us.

Also in this issue, 16-year-old Hannah Addington is going for gold, the Congressional Gold Medal Award, that is. Children’s author Steve Metzger returns to Oz with Toto’s side of the story, and Rebecca Doughty warms our hearts with Before You.

Our special contributors this month tell us how teaching another language can be the best gift to give to a child, how mindsets can impact our children’s success, and how to create the perfect coloring book.

Take a look … it’s in this issue.
