There is so much information out there about skin care. The skin is the largest organ of the human body, so taking care of it is important. Texas-based author, skin disrupter and esthetician
Samantha Dench wrote a book, “Skin Deep: Demystifying Skin Care Solutions to Achieve Healthy, Glowing Skin.” Her in-depth
research, knowledge and experience from owning and running her own spa
helps adults, teenagers and estheticians understand
the layers that make up skin and teaches readers how they can protect
their skin by following healthy habits, products and treatments. She looks at not only the surface of the skin, but under it as well.
The book has several features that are helpful. There's a list of beneficial and harmful ingredients, a lot of general tips to help work with a variety of skin issues, as well as to minimize the effects of aging, and there's a description of what estheticians do and how to find one that is right for you.
I have a chance to give away two copies of the book. To enter, leave a comment with why you're most interested in improving skin care, or what you're most interested in learning about. Deadline is March 5th.
