Website Spotlight: VoteRunLead.com

Since last November’s general election, thousands of women have thrown their hat into the political arena and pledged to run for office. One amazing organization that is helping women achieve this goal is VoteRunLead.org, a non-partisan non-profit founded by Erin Vilardi, formerly of The White House Project.

Erin Vilardi and VoteRunLead.org will be in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area on April 27, 28 & 29 hosting three training sessions with area women. Today, more than ever before, there are resources that help prepare women to run for office. VoteRunLead is encouraging women interested in running for office that they can do so now — not in five years, not after their children are grown, not after they are done with their careers, but right now. Studies have shown that for success in elected office, you don’t need prior political experience. Women especially have the passion for change and  can successfully run and win elected offices right now.
