Consumer Critique: Okabashi

If you're anything like me, those cheap flip-flops may not last a whole summer without the thong part pulling through the bottom or falling apart. I had a chance to review Okabashi Maui flip flops, and I really was pleased with them.

Unlike other flip-flops, these are actually comfortable. They have arch support instead of just being flat. There's a little bit of give, enough to be comfortable, but not so much that they don't support the feet. The strap is wide and soft, so it doesn't cut into the feet, and the way it's molded means it's a lot less likely to fall apart.

The shoes are available for both men and women and are made in the USA, available in a variety of colors and styles (including clogs), and are about $20. Join the newsletter for 10% off your order, and get a shoe bag when you buy 2 pairs. Shipping and exchanges are free, and the shoes are 100% vegan-friendly and fully recyclable.
