My family enjoys playing games with each other, and I like incorporating games as part of our homeschool day. I was excited to review Rewordable, a new word-building game. The idea of gameplay was simple - use cards to build longer and longer words. Additional word pieces can go in the middle or on the ends of already built words. The fragments have been chosen to allow for a great deal of adding to words, with elements like -ing, -able, and other easy-to-use suffixes. This made it possible for everyone in our family to play, from my 8-year-old to the adults. It can be used to increase vocabulary for younger kids, help them differentiate between nonsense and real words, and challenge older kids and adults to stretch their word thinking.
The game can be found at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Walmart.
