Earlier this year I got to try shave soaps from Van Der Hagen. The soaps are gentle, hypoallergenic and suitable for even sensitive skin. With 10% glycerin, they really help skin feel moisturized and hydrated. The scents are appropriate - there's a light floral scent that was ok for even my husband to use, a fresh scent that was neutral and clean, a fruity scent that was lightly citrusy, and a free unscented version.
I like soaps that are naturally scented - they smell way better than over-scented conventional kinds. These soaps can be found online, and at Walmart, Walgreens, Duane Reade, Stop and Shop, and Whole Foods and are just a few dollars a bar.
