If you run a business of any sort, whether it's a brick-and-mortar, a service-based, or a virtual presence, at some point, you'll be ready to step back and pass the torch. For some people, they want to pass that on to their children. Other people just want to make sure that their children have the skills necessary for being successful on their own, if that's the path they choose to take.
I recently had a chance to read an ebook of Familypreneur, where author Jean Pierre teachers readers how to raise their children to be successful entrepreneurs. It helps parents introduce the core concepts of entrepreneurship that are used by the most successful business-starters today. I liked how there were lots of ideas that were engaging for kids, even from a fairly young age. The stories brought the book alive, and the exercises were suitable for kids of all ages. It helps encourage kids to use their talents and work for success, whatever that looks like for them.
There was some information here that I already know, but I like the target of this book - not towards kids who might be budding entrepreneurs, or towards adults that want to start their own business, but towards families. This lead by example approach can help give parents the skills to launch their kids into enrepreneurship, even if they aren't running their own businesses.
