Tuffy’s has established a GoFundMe page for those who wish to pledge their support to the pets and pet owners who have been severely challenged by Hurricane Harvey. “The devastation in the Gulf Coast area is beyond description,” said Charlie Nelson, President of KLN Family Brands, the parent company of Tuffy’s Pet Foods. “Our company is making a monetary donation to get the GoFundMe page off to a healthy start and will also make a pet food donation to feed at least 5,000 pets that have been impacted or displaced due to Hurricane Harvey. We may be thousands of miles away from the Gulf Coast area but our hearts are there with every person and pet in the area affecting by this catastrophic weather event.”
Tuffy’s will be seeking the support of its vendors, distributors, retailers and other contacts in an effort to deliver even further aid to those in need. “More than just a company value, it is simply the right thing to do.
