Consumer Critique: Always Right Mug

I recently had a chance to get a mug from 5amily. I got the "Always Right" mug and I got a kick out of it. It's personalizable with any name, but I chose to just go with "mom." The design is pretty and feminine, but it's not too super girly. I don't like things that are overly girly, so this was perfect for me.

The site has a huge variety of other designs that can be personalized. They make t-shirts, mugs, hoodies, bags, and phone cases. You can choose designs that go along with many different hobbies and themes, including relationships, pets, professions, sports, locations, subjects studied, and your zodiac symbol. The creation process is easy. If you have a link or know exactly what you want, you just put in the name you want to add and go. Shipping was very fast - I got my mug quickly after I'd ordered it. If you aren't quite sure what you want, the site will help you build designs based on what you put in for interests.

The prices seem reasonable too. The mug I got is $9.99 right now, and I skimmed around the site checking out other products and they were all in line with (or cheaper than) other sites that offer personalized items. I got an email shortly after the order with an offer for savings on my next order, which always makes me more likely to try out a site again.

The quality of the mug was just fine. The design is nice and has stayed on through several washes (we don't own a dishwasher so I don't know how it would hold up there). The mug is a good weight, pretty standard - not too heavy or too light. All in all, it's definitely a site I'll consider ordering from again.
