Consumer Critique: StoppClipp

When parents have a baby, they often remember to baby-proof the obvious hazards: cupboard locks, baby gates, locks on doors. But one common injury isn't caused by kids going through an open door, but by closing it - fingers can get pinched in doors or hinges, or small kids can shut a door and be unable to come back out from the room. The StoppClipp is designed to prevent that from happening.

I was sent a few samples of StoppClipp. It's incredibly easy to use - it just clips right on the door, no tools required. It easily keeps doors from closing with a bumper on one end, and can be placed on the bottom, top, or opening side. As a bonus - when the kids get older and are moving through the house more quickly, it can act like a doorstop to keep doors from slamming open and marking the wall with the doorknob!

The StoppClipp is available in two finishes: white and stained. They are sold at The Home Depot and proudly made in the USA.
