It’s one of the biggest milestones in a teen’s life – getting his or her driver’s license. However, this step toward independence and freedom also means a greater responsibility for you and your teen. As part of National Teen Driver Safety Week, which runs from October 15-21, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is urging parents to start a conversation about safety with their teen driver. Let your young driver know that obeying the rules of the road is a prerequisite for the privilege of driving.
