Book Nook: The Cozies - The Legend of Operation Moonlight

My daughter loves imagination and fantasy books, and I love books that inspire kids to realize that they can make a difference. It was fun to get to review The Cozies: The Legend of Operation Moonlight.

These "Cozies" are tiny little figments of imagination. Each one has a different shape and personality, but they all exist to make small children happy. One night, their little human is kidnapped. They want to help, but they have no idea how - as imaginary creatures, they can't really change the real world the same way a human can. However, Musetta, a brave Cozy, helps lead them into an amazing series of adventures to help their human. Their combination of imagination and action overcomes their helplessness to make a difference.

It's a unique concept and a fun story. It encourages the power of imagination - something that, sadly, many kids are less interested in. My daughter loves imaginative play, so it was fun for her to read a book that illustrated just how powerful imagination can be.
