Looking for funding for your non-profit that focuses on technology-based community solutions? The NBCUniversal Foundation, in partnership with NBC and Telumundo owned stations is now accepting applications for Project Innovation, a competitive grant program.
Over the next two years, Project Innovation will award nearly $5 million to nonprofit organizations in the 11 NBC and Telemundo-owned stations’ markets. These markets include: Bay Area, Boston, Chicago, Connecticut, Dallas/Fort-Worth, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, Miami-Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C.
The NBCUniversal Foundation will award $225,000 amongst three to eight nonprofits in each of the 11 markets. Each grant is intended to strengthen local communities by helping educational, instructive and service-based initiatives for youth, adults and the greater community. Grants will support programs over three categories: Igniting Civic Engagement, Skills for the Digital Economy, STEM/STEAM Youth Programming
Each NBC and Telemundo-owned station is accepting applications from January 12, 2018, through February 2, 2018.
