While some guys enjoy chocolate or teddy bears, many men would prefer something else for Valentine's Day. I recently had a chance to review samples from TheBroBasket's line of cool, bro-approved baskets.
The founders of TheBroBasket created a variety of guy-friendly gift baskets like Viva Tequila, The Junk Foodie Party Package, The Cali Craft Beer Sampler and A Bite of Bourbon. Not only do they have specific options, but you can also create custom baskets to choose exactly what you want it to contain - whiskey samplers, wines, craft beer, snacks - there are tons of possibilities to be able to please any guy. Is he not a drinker? There are plenty of alcohol-free baskets to choose from as well.
We ended up getting two different baskets - I don't know if it was a fluke or not, but it was fun to see the variety. My husband loved opening them up! If I had to make a criticism, it's that both baskets contains a beer cozy and bottle opener, neither of which we really need, so if you use this for a repeat gift, your guy will end up with duplicates.
However, that's an extremely minor drawback. The baskets were arranged very nicely. One basket, the Ultimate Gift for Men, had just a variety of beer and a bag of tasty popcorn. The beer was nicely fanned out so the presentation was great. There was plenty of shredded paper to help protect and pad what was in the basket. The other basket, Craft Beer Tasting Kit, included a paddle and glasses to make a flight of beer (a unique touch) so it makes a good way for men to split a variety of beers. It will likely come in handy when we have family over and the indecisive guys can't decide which one(s) to drink but don't want to drink to excess.
