Valleyfair is introducing Minnesota Eats, a new exciting food festival, weekends, July 14 – August 5, in the Gazebo Stage area of the park.Minnesota Eats will feature uniquely Minnesotan food combinations in new and vibrant ways along with local beer and live music.
“Minnesota Eats highlights Valleyfair’s commitment to being Minnesota’s amusement park,” said Valleyfair’s Vice President and General Manager, Brad Marcy, “We are proud to be a part of this unique community and we want to give guests a reason to celebrate Minnesota culture with us.”
Regional cuisine includes hotdishs, walleye, Juicy Lucys, and delicious desserts. Minnesota Eats also features another northern favorite, local craft beers. Each specialty dish can be paired with a local brew. Guests will also have the chance to try Valleyfair’s exclusive Delirious Blueberry Ale, brewed by Badger Hill.
Each weekend of Minnesota Eats will feature a unique menu inspired by Minnesota culture and activities. The first weekend (July 14 &15) is titled International Fusion featuring a Banh Mi Juicy Lucy. The second weekend (July 21 & 22) focuses on Campfire Cuisine featuring a tradition Foil Packed Walleye. The third weekend (July 28 & 29) highlights Minnesota Comfort foods with a classic Tater Tot Hotdish. The final weekend (August 4 & 5) is themed Potluck featuring Walleye Cakes. Minnesota Eats is more than just a food festival. Jam to the sounds of Valleyfair's house band, Minnie & The Saint Paul’s, as they celebrate the biggest hits from the last 50 years, including local Minnesota favorites. Guests can come to Valleyfair for each weekend of Minnesota Eats with a Gold Season Pass. A Gold Season Pass pays for itself in fewer than two visits and can be purchased at Valleyfair.com. A Gold Season Passes includes unlimited visits to Valleyfair, Soak City Waterpark (open through Labor Day) and ValleySCARE this fall.
