I recently had a chance to Journey from Delphi, the third book in the Apollo Series by A. K. Patch. While the book does ok as a standalone, it's much better as the conclusion of a trilogy (Passage at Delphi and Delphi's Chosen).
Professors Lauren and Zack Fletcher are separated by centuries and the mission for which they have been chosen by Apollo. They have to face enemies from both past and present - with Zack stuck into the past and Lauren working secretly in the present, they may always be separated.
The book weaves together history, adventure, and romance in an intriguing story that is exciting to read. It's thought-provoking as well, questioning the boundaries of technological progress.
If you read the others, you definitely need to read this. If this is the first you're hearing about this series, it's a great series if you like history, intrigue, or romance!
