Area Attractions: Live Performances at Cumberland Caverns Volcano Room

New dates have been announced for live performances at Cumberland Caverns World-Famous Volcano Room. The Willis Clan on October 14th and BoDeans on Saturday, Oct 21st. Both shows are at 3 p.m. CST.

The Willis Clan are Former TLC reality stars who had their own hit television show, “The Willis Family,” and “America’s Got Talent” fame. They excited to add this stop on the tour to promote their latest album, “Speak My Mind.”  Infusing pop, country, bluegrass and Irish influences on the new album, which is a very personal one for the group with messages of courage, healing and hope. The emotional, hard-hitting album features 12 tracks that paint an intimate portrait of a family individually, and collectively confronting and finding their ways through the darkest and most harrowing of circumstances.

BoDeans’ remarkable 30-year musical career know that their blend of compelling songs and high energy performances have retained an unpretentious rock & roll loyal following like no other.Best known for their catchy single, “Closer To Free,” the band’s accessible adult alternative sound has led to many a milestone, including a Rolling Stone Reader’s Poll for Best New American Band in 1987, and support slots with U2, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Tom Petty, George Thorogood, The Pretenders, David Bowie and numerous others.
