Book Nook: The One-Minute Money Mentor for Women

In today's fast-paced world, it can be hard to devote time to financial fitness. But without having a clear idea, money worries can actually take more of our time. CPA and author Deborah Smith Pegues wrote The One-Minute Money Mentor for Women to make it easier for women to make sound financial decisions.

I had a chance to review this book, and it's appropriate for women of all ages who want to become more involved in handling their money. Perhaps you run the household budget but want to make it more efficient - or perhaps someone else runs the budget and you want to be more knowledgeable. Either way, it's likely you'll find something for you in this book.

The book looks at the emotional side of money management and how finances affect relationships. It also gives women confidence to get what they need in the workplace. It is clearly written from a Christian perspective and incorporates Biblical verses throughout the book - this makes it a plus for Christian women, but it is still sound financial advice for all women.

Deborah Smith Pegues is a certified public accountant, behavioral consultant, TV host, and global speaker with an MBA in finance. She has written sixteen transformational books, including the bestselling 30 Days to Taming Your Tongue and 30 Days to Taming Your Finances. She and her husband, Darnell, have been married nearly 40 years.
