As parents, we want our kids to learn to listen to their conscience to make good decisions. But it can be hard to explain to kids what that feels like and how to know. I had a chance to review Small Voice Says, a book that gives kids a look at what it means to listen to that small voice that tells us right from wrong.
The book can open up a wide variety of age-appropriate discussion on topics like right vs. wrong, standing up to peer pressure, self-expression, and more. The plot is easy to follow, and the illustrations are kid-friendly. The situations are easy for kids to relate to, and the book is written with a kind, nurturing tone.
Mike's passion centers on developing leaders at all ages, from the four-year-old entering pre-school to the corporate CEO leading a global enterprise. In today's world, we all need to lead in some way and Mike has helped to illuminate that path through three books: Leading Through Meaning, The Other Side of the Card, and This is Not Working.
