In a new interview with C. M. Rubin, creator of The Global Search for Education and founder of CMRubinWorld, Fredrik Wetterhall, the co-founder of Lexplore, discusses the new technological advances in the AI sector that provide screening for evaluating students’ reading levels. Lexplore uses the latest artificial intelligence technology to better recognize dyslexia in children early on in their academic careers. According to Wetterhall, the educator can “visualize the cognitive process that is happening when a child reads.” Lexplore’s use of eye gaze data gives teachers “a clear view of reading,” as it allows them to see “how the child is reading and how the struggles of dyslexia impact the reading process.” He adds that scientists are at “the embryonic stages of what artificial intelligence is capable of doing.”
