Dreamy Dancers (www.dreamydancers.com), a trendsetting dance shoe brand mixing handcrafted traditional dance shoes with the glam and spunk of the California lifestyle, today announced the launch of its first collection of shoes. Set to shake up the dance wear industry, the shoes fill a huge gap in the current market - one of high-quality dance shoes in a variety of vibrant glitter finishes.
The idea for Dreamy Dancers was born when the company’s founder, Brooke Gutierrez, was searching online for ‘glitter dance shoes’ for her daughter. “It quickly became apparent that there was a huge gap in the market for fancy dance shoes,” said Gutierrez. “So I decided to take an adventurous leap into dance, fashion and glitter and custom-made a pair of sequin tap shoes for my daughter and the next thing I knew, all the girls in her dance class were begging for a pair.”
The collection features four different styles: tap, jazz, ballet and the ‘dancer off duty’ shoe, all available in ten shades of sparkling glitter, from ‘Lavender’ and ‘Red’, to ‘Mermaid’ and ‘Rainbow Unicorn’. The variety of colorways will enable children and pre-teen dancers to own shoes that are as fancy as their dance costumes and reflect their personal styles. “Our collection is a stark contrast to what’s currently available on the market.” says Gutierrez. “Existing brands, even those at larger outlets such as Amazon and Target, currently provide marginal quality dance shoes in limited colors of basic ballet pink, black and tan, which many dancers, including my daughter, are simply not excited about.”
Each Dreamy Dancer shoe is designed in the heart of California's central coast and made skillfully by hand in the United Kingdom by artisan dance shoe makers Freed of London. Their shoes have been worn by the greatest dancers since the 1920s and are still worn by the leading dancers, companies and schools around the world.
Tap Shoes
Handcrafted tap shoes with Freed of London Super Sonic taps and anti-slip grip. Your little dancers have never seen a design like this. The anti-slip grip keeps them from slipping on dance floor surfaces but still allows for a great tapping movement. Ribbons tie into a bow for shoe closure.
Dancer Off Duty
Features the same great design as the Dreamy Dancer tap shoe but with a smooth sole made for the dance floor or a day of shopping with Mom. A great shoe for fancy dancers that want Dreamy Dancer shoes both at the studio and off-duty. Ribbons tie into a bow for shoe closure.
Jazz Shoe
The Dreamy Dancers Jazz boot is a huge step up from your basic black Jazz shoe. Available in the same chunky glitter colors as all the Dreamy Dancer shoes, this boot really shines with a custom handcrafted design and neoprene stretchable sides for easy on and off transitions from hip hop to the next performance. The non-slip sole and slight lift at the heel will elevate any dancer’s moves to the next level.
Ballet Shoe
The glitter ballet shoe of your dreams. Handcrafted ballet shoe with a full sole and elastic straps for stability on children’s unique feet.

About Dreamy Dancers
Dreamy Dancers is a trendsetting dance shoe brand mixing handcrafted traditional dance shoes with the glam and spunk of the California lifestyle. The company was founded in 2018 by Brooke Gutierrez with the mission of making dancers feel unique and fancy.
The idea for Dreamy Dancers was born when Brooke was searching online for ‘glitter dance shoes’ for her daughter, a fancy girl who loves to dance and perform. It quickly became apparent that there was a huge void in the dance shoe market for fancy dance shoes, so Brooke decided to take an adventurous leap into dance, fashion and glitter and custom-made a pair of sequin tap shoes for her daughter. Next thing she knew, all the girls in her daughter’s dance class were begging for a pair, which led to the creation of Dreamy Dancers.
