Contest: Mel's MOMster Mom

The mother-owned cookie company that’s absent on gluten but monster on flavor wants to give back by honoring moms in time for Mother’s Day. Meli’s Monster Cookies feels passionate about honoring and taking care of ALL hard working moms. They know that if you have anyone in your life that calls you “Mom” then you are working tirelessly all in the name of your families.

If you’re a mom with a to-do list that’s never-ending and always stretched a little too thin, but you keep doing it all with a smile on your face, then you’re a Meli’s "MOMster" Mom!  The Melissas’ of Meli’s Monster Cookies want to know you, honor you and give you a special gift of a $500 Visa Card to spend or do whatever you want!  

Starting April 22, 2019, “MOMster” moms can visit  www.melisMOMstermoms.com and fill out the submission or do an Insta Story to tell why their “MOMster” mom should win. All submissions must be received by May 10, 2019. The winning MOMster Mom will be announced on May 12, be featured on Meli’s social media feeds and be delivered her MOMster Mom care package for some much-needed Mother's Day pampering.

About the Meli’s: When it comes to self-made success stories, Melissa Blue and Melissa Mehall of Meli’s Monster Cookies are the “mompreneurs” to watch in 2019. These hard-working moms -- each with three kids under the age of 14 -- established a naturally gluten-free craveable cookie brand that hit 4,000 Walmart shelves nationwide in February with easy-to-make dry mixes.


Friends for over 30 years, Melissa Blue and Melissa Mehall grew up in Waco, Texas together. The Melissas’ cookie business started with a family recipe passed down from Blue's mother-in-law that has been enjoyed and loved for over 40 years. The “aha” moment was triggered when a close family member developed a gluten intolerance. While baking monster cookies, it dawned on the Meli’s that this delicious cookie was naturally gluten-free since the original recipe did not contain wheat or flour, which was the catalyst to share Meli’s Monster Cookies with the world.


They both now live in Central Texas and love working together on Meli’s Monster Cookies. Blue is a former gemologist and owner of Blue Diamonds for 5 years.  Mehall is a former transactional attorney.
