Consumer Critique: Zesty Paws Freeze-Dried Chicken Treats

I recently had a chance to try out these Zesty Paws Freeze-Dried Raw Treats with our new puppy. I was looking forward to it - and my puppy was very excited to be able to try it. I didn't know what to expect with freeze-dried meat treats, but they were easy to use, for the most part. They weren't messy, and they came in chunks that were big enough to be fairly satisfying, although they could be split into smaller pieces to make them last longer. Unlike baked treats, they didn't just break, but it was more like tearing them along the grain of the chicken (that's not exactly what it was like, but it's the best description I have).

Our dog loved them. She ate them happily. The only downside was that sometimes smaller pieces broke off, so at the end we were left with some little shreds - but those were pretty easy to just sprinkle on top of her regular food for a little extra treat. They have no extra fillers - they're made from just freeze-dried chicken breast - so you don't have to wonder what's in them or whether or not they'll be good for your dog.

The order process was very smooth. I ordered them directly from the website and they were shipped fairly quickly. The company also makes grooming products as well as products for cats. They can be purchased at the Zesty Paws website, or also at other retailers like Amazon, Walmart, Chewy.com, iHerb, PetFlow, and Healthy Pets.
