Book Nook: All Around Bustletown - Winter

I recently had a chance to review All Around Bustletown: Winter by Rotraut Susanne Berner. This beautifully illustrated board book, rich in detail, is perfect for pre-readers.

The book has no words. The back of the book has several images to discover throughout, but this book is about the joy of imagination, discussion and observation between child and adult, and learning about winter habits and activities.

For older toddlers, this book is a great way to enrich vocabulary by pointing out different parts of the pages. For early preschoolers, adults can ask children to find different parts of the story on the page. Older children can follow the characters throughout the pages and make up stories about each one. There's so much going on in the book that every time it's looked at, it'll be a different story.
