In the video below, Pet Advocate and ‘Puppy Bowl’ Referee Dan Schachner discusses pet care and safety tips. Whether you are looking for the most nutritious snacks for them or hitting the road with your pets, Dan will share how to keep the whole family happy and safe
Some of Dan’s tips will include:
- TO TREAT OR NOT TO TREAT? Moderation is key! Treats will keep your pets healthy and motivated. Always check the ingredients in every dog treat: all-natural is best, make sure you can identify real, natural ingredients when reading the label. When introducing a new treat to you dog, always offer tiny bits to start to make sure they do not have any sensitivities to a new ingredient
- TRAVELING WITH PETS? Always check your accommodations pet policy online and check out their reviews. Don’t forget to ask if there a designated dog relief area, how close the nearest dog park is.
- PESKY HAIR AND ‘ACCIDENTS’ GETTING YOU DOWN? Roll up those carpets! If you are bringing a dog to a rental or family member's home, rolling up rugs can keep the home clean and avoid any potential issues. If you are going to a hotel, most of which have carpet, pack a good vacuum cleaner just in case!.
