I recently posted about the book ADVENTURES OF THE SENSOKIDS by Pediatric Occupational Therapist and owner of OT Studios, Inc in Los Angeles, Dr. Reema Naim OTD, OTR/L. I had a chance to see a copy of the book as well.
The book actually tackles an issue that is pretty familiar in our house - using senses to help with things like dressing and staying neat and tidy. My own daughter, even in sixth grade, still has challenges sometimes wearing her clothes the right way or keeping her face clean when she eats. For younger kids, this can be a great book for teaching kids how to check in with their senses and use them for self-monitoring.
