Consumer Critique: SPLATZ

Washing hands has long been one of the first lines of defense when it comes to spreading disease - but it isn't always fun, especially for kids. When mom Allie DiVincenzo struggled to get her son to wash his hands properly, she decided to change the soap with the help of two Harvard/MIT scientists.

I had a chance to try out SPLATZ, the eco-friendly bubbles of hand soap that SPLAT! when kids squeeze them underwater for a more fun sensory experience that becomes almost like a game. The cleaner is safe and effective, with all-natural ingredients.

Honestly, even as an adult, it was more fun to use than traditional soap. Being able to play with soap before using it? Squeezing and squishing and rolling it around? It was more fun than I care to admit. The shells are biodegradable, although if you have a drain that is prone to clogging you may want to remove the shells before they go down the drain, especially if you have a strainer-type drain or a drain with smaller holes.
