I recently had a chance to review fairlife: nutrition plan, a rich, creamy and light-tasting nutrition shake, designed to help consumers pursue sustainable health goals.
Each bottle contains 30 grams of protein and 150 calories with only 2 grams of sugar. It's also lactose and gluten-free, so it checks a lot of boxes for a healthy drink that works for many different people. Like all fairlife products, it's made with a cold-filtration system that starts with real cows' milk to remove some natural milk sugars while concentrating the protein and calcium.
It comes in several flavors - chocolate, salted caramel, coffee and vanilla. I was actually surprised that my daughter liked the coffee flavor (she doesn't drink coffee, but this was mild enough that she liked it). Both of my girls loved the chocolate and vanilla flavors, and my husband really enjoyed the salted caramel (the rest of us thought it was fine but we don't love salted caramel).
The taste is rich and creamy, just a little sweet but not overly so. It really didn't taste like a nutrition shake at all!
It's available in 12-packs with a suggested retail price of $16.66 each pack. You can find it at Walmart, Sam's Club, BJ's Wholesale Club, and select Costco locations.
