Sir Richard Branson spent about two decades working on Virgin Galactic, and this finally paid off as he jetted into outer space on Sunday. According to him, a trip to outer space has been his lifelong dream, and he never expected what he saw on landing in space.
Every Dream Is Valid.
Branson shared a clip of himself and his team in the spaceship floating and added a caption that talked about his dream. "I was once a child with a dream looking up to the stars. Now I'm an adult in a spaceship looking down to our beautiful Earth. To the next generation of dreamers: if we can do this, just imagine what you can do."
More Space Exploration To Come?
The commercial aerospace industry has celebrated a significant milestone with Branson's successful trip to space. Branson has been committed to creating a sustainable business out of suborbital space tourism. Individuals can quickly and simply visit space rather than stay in the Earth orbit for longer. This flight promises a never-been-felt-before type of adrenaline rush, alongside a fantastic panoramic view of the earth from space. For all these, the space trip ticket may cost around 200,000 to 250,000 US dollars. Interestingly, there are over 600 bookings at the moment.

What Should You Take to Space?
Water and Food
When the United States astronauts visited the moon in the 1960s, they relied on RO reverse osmosis membranes made based on the seagulls' principle for their water. These membranes continuously recycle the urine from the astronauts into clean water.
With a 0.0001-micron pore size, these RO reverse osmosis membranes will only allow particles with 4,000x lesser the size of a bacterium and 200x lesser the source of infectious diseases. Hence, only water molecules pass through the membrane, while impurity particles like inorganic and organic substances, heavy metals, scales, sediments, microorganisms, and bacteria are trapped. In the end, astronauts could get clean water for direct drinking while the impurities are expelled as wastewater.
Waterdrop Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System
The 5-in-1 filter in the Waterdrop RO Drinking Water Filtration System is a combination of multiple filtration materials. It sports a compact design without sacrificing excellent filtration capabilities. It is effective against pesticides, heavy metals, TDS, chlorine, and other impurities in water. For convenience and optimal performance, it automatically flushes itself after one hour of no use. You can rest assured of getting the highest quality filtered water at all times from this long-lasting filtration system.
Cameras
The first photos of the moon's far side came through the Soviet Union's moon probe 3 in 1959, and they showed the unusual mountainous terrain that appears like the moon. The pictures were taken with a Lunar Probe 3 carry camera, which transforms the reflection of the moonlight of photocell triggered. The fixing and drying – film development – were also achieved using its radiation resistance detector. So, when visiting space, you need a camera to take great shots and make videotapes for future explorations.
Portable Solar Power Kit
Neither the atmosphere nor the seasonal changes day and night affect the sun's rays. This is why the geosynchronous orbit, despite being 36,000 kilometers away from the earth, is associated with a short shadow period. The intensity of the solar radiation received is usually 6x higher than what is recorded on earth and 99% stable.
The inability of the light from space to pass through the atmosphere means the blue wave's energy is not lost, and a higher power generation efficiency will be recorded. Therefore, you need an additional power source to keep you and your team entertained throughout the trip.
Finally…
The vapor compression distillation technology plays a huge role in providing drinking water for astronauts in space. It treats the urine from astronauts to transform them into safe, drinkable water. the multi-stage process is crucial to survival in space, and helps keep the operating costs of the space station down. Reverse osmosis is another filtration solution more people are adopting to enjoy clean and safe household water.
Technology is a major driving force of most changes and improvements in human life. Again, with technology, there is no limit to what is achievable.
