Fun Freetime: Holiday STEM Kits

I am a teacher and a homeschooling mother, and I love the idea of gifts that are fun and enjoyable for kids, but also have an extra benefit. So I was really excited to do this review. The National Inventors Hall of Fame® offers a variety of fun STEM learning kits that help kids gain confidence and develop innovative thinking.

The Innovation Exploration Kits™ are the perfect way to bring the fun of Camp Invention® to your doorstep. They touch on a variety of topics, including robotics, biology, and light. The kits come with nearly everything you need to complete the projects, and come as sets or as individual kits, which you can purchase at invent.org/kits.

The full set for the Elevate Series is over $100, but it's well worth it. There are hours of fun in these boxes, which makes it less expensive per hour than movie tickets! You get actual robots, and those alone provide tons of fun even after you're done with the kit. The only things you need to add are basic supplies like scissors or other super easy office supplies - we didn't need to get anything extra to complete all the activities in our kits.

These are fantastic for winter break activities, weekend activities when the weather makes it hard to go outside, or homeschool enrichment activities. Check out the video below to get a taste of what's inside, and then head over to the site to purchase your own! (Order by December 16th to get it by Christmas)
