I recently had a chance to review The Official Unicorn Spit User's Handbook. This actually inspired us to go out and get new art supplies!
For this book to work, you really need to have the right stuff - we didn't have things on hand that worked as a substitute. However, the projects in the book are fun, and it was also a lot of fun for my daughter to explore new art forms and work with materials she hadn't used before. The colors are bold and can be used on a wide variety of materials - and this book does a great job of explaining how to use it and providing art prompts.
