Consumer Critique: Pet Botanics Training Rewards Mini Soft & Chewy Dog Treats - Cheddar

We recently had a chance to try out Pet Botanics Training Rewards Mini Soft & Chewy Dog Treats - Cheddar with our dog. They were definitely a hit!

I love mini treats. Our dog is highly food motivated, so using small treats helps us reward her throughout the day, during regular training sessions and also just to keep providing intermittent reinforcement for good behavior. With small treats, we don't have to worry as much about how many we're giving her, because they don't add up to as much food throughout the day as larger treats.

The treats contain a special blend of plant-based ingredients - rosemary, cranberry, blueberries, tomatoes, chamomile, dandelion, green tea, and peppermint. They're also free of BHA, BHT, corn, soy, and artificial flavors and colors.

They smell pretty good, too - and our dog definitely things they're great, because she got really eager for training sessions when we got the bag out!

We do regular training session with our dog because it's good for her - it keeps her body and brain active, and when we're working on new tricks with her, or reviewing old tricks on a regular basis, it provides enough stimulation that she isn't as likely to get into things that she isn't supposed to do (like stealing shoes). The regular sessions also teach our kids to be responsible for a pet and help boost the relationship they have with her. Little treats like these help us keep the training session fresh and engaging for her - and it's fun for us to see her highly motivated.
