Done and Ordered

 I recently was contacted by Sarah, who is writing a book about her experiences with the justice system and its effect on her life and that of her kids. She shared with me a poem that she has written and translated into English.

DONE AND ORDERED

Do you know what's more painful than waiting for your love one who is closes to your heart? To know that those love ones, need you, and waiting for you. But; You can't go, you can't see them, Because; on behalf on father, DONE AND ORDERED.

Do you know what's more painful than grieving? The fact that those you mourn are alive but you still can't see and touch them. Because on behalf of father, DONE AND ORDERED.

Do you know what's more painful than the mourning? You feel their helplessness, their pleas, their cries, their prayers in the depths of your heart, but you can't help them, Because; on behalf of father, DONE AND ORDERED.

Do you know what's worse than helplessness? You want to hear a voice of justice that says,  OBJECTION YOUR HONOR!!!  The only sound you hear is laughter, and Judge says, be quiet!!! BECAUSE AMERICAN JUSTICE SYSTEM IS SLEEPING, WHILE ON BEHALF OF FATHER, DONE AND ORDERED!!!!
