Rising Country artist
Logan Crosby releases his highly-anticipated debut EP,
23 Days in L.A. available everywhere today, July 14. Over the course of the collection's five songs, Crosby weaves fans through a love story that is over as quickly as it started. Co-written by Crosby and co-produced by Jonathan Singleton and Ben Simonetti,
23 Days in L.A. showcases the rising star's depth as a storyteller and range as a vocalist.
“23 Days in L.A. tells a story we've all been through, myself included,” shares Crosby. “You find somebody, you love them as hard as you can, and for some reason, they still walk away. Every emotion from my time in California is in this project and I hope it connects with you. Since I was four years old, all I've ever wanted to do was write and sing songs, so I want to thank y'all from the bottom of my heart for coming on this journey with me."
The EP kicks off with “Run Away With You,” a lust-filled introduction to the rollercoaster love affair while Crosby reflects on all the feelings of young love and freedom that come with a new, addictive summer romance. The journey continues with the project's certified love song, “Ain't Nothin' Like Lovin' You.” As the relationship blossoms, Crosby admits he's never felt such an all-encompassing love he's afraid to lose. “A Little Sunburnt, A Little Drunk” serves as the first of several reflections – blaming the changing seasons for why the summer whirlwind romance is coming to an end. Showcasing a new side of Crosby's artistry, “Whiskey Smoke” pulls from the emotion of an exhaustive fighting cycle as the relationship goes up in flames. As the final song and title track to the EP, “23 Days in L.A.” fans find Crosby conceding to the end of the relationship. As he recounts the memories from their time together, he reflects on the lessons learned from the whirlwind that was 23 days in L.A..
