The Phantom Enforcer is the sequel to The Phantom Firefighter, from the First Responder series. I had a chance to read e-versions of both books. In this installment, Dani and Noah find a magical diary about an officer’s second year in the country’s second-largest police force. The book has a variety of themes woven together, including being a female in a male-dominated profession, magic, and the consequences of changing history.
It's a unique type of fantasy story that manages to include realistic first responder duties. My younger daughter was very intrigued by the books, as she wants to be a firefighter and enjoys books with lots of action. She enjoyed the story in the diary even more so than the fantasy shell around it!
Three percent of all book sales will go to the First Responders Children’s Foundation, which provides financial support to children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.
