Consumer Critique - Le Sauce & Co.

I recently had a chance to try some of  Le Sauce & Co’s delicious sauce packages. They have anew line of tomato sauces, perfect for cooking a delicious meal in a fraction of the time using premium, fresh ingredients. The sauces are crafted with the ripest hand-picked tomatoes from Italy and a blend of the highest quality herbs and spices. They are a great solution when you need a quick, low-effort weeknight meal that tastes homemade from scratch.

 

The five flavors in the new collection include: 

• Classic Marinara Sauce: Bursting with Italian tomatoes, oregano, garlic, and a hint of red pepper flakes, just like nonnas make it. Perfect for pasta, pizza, and beyond 
• Tomato Basil Sauce: This light, fresh-flavored sauce is perfect for picky eaters. It's ideal for any pasta dish and fantastic as a topping for fish or chicken or layered into a lasagna.
• Spicy Pomodoro Sauce: Starting from the highest quality classic tomato Pomodoro and seasoned with Calabrian chiles, this fiery sauce will spice up the plate. 
• Creamy Sun Dried Tomato Pesto Sauce: This bright, sun-dried tomato and parmesan-rich pesto might become the pantry go-to. Try it with spaghetti, spinach, Italian sausage, ricotta-filled ravioli, or even as a dip for a loaf of warm bread.
• Savory Provencal Sauce: Inspired by Southern France, this rich, umami-packed sauce, enhanced with beef stock, elevates meats, veggies, or hearty pasta like rigatoni or pappardelle. 

 

Besides these new flavors, they have a wide variety of pasta and finishing sauces available. Each sauce gives tips right on the package for what it works well on (type of meat, for example). We tried several of the flavors and my family enjoyed all of them!

Each packet is designed for two, but we actually used it for a serving of four as well. It wasn't quite as saucy, but the flavor was still there, and it worked well for us. The packets make two very generous servings!
