Music MInute - Musiquita: Familiar

 Musiquita, the dynamic wife/husband duo known for their vibrant, bilingual Spanish and English musical performances, is thrilled to announce the release of their highly anticipated second album, "Familiar," available on all digital platforms starting July 1st.

"Familiar" is a heartfelt collection inspired by the joys and challenges of family life, prominently featuring the voices and talents of Blanca Cecilia González (vocals/violin/ukulele), Jesse Elder (vocals/keyboards/percussion/melodica), and their two children, Remi (4) and Vivianna (8). The album’s themes span from vehicles, family love, and emotional intelligence to hygiene, using the bathroom, loud cars, and even pillows, capturing the everyday moments that resonate with families everywhere. The project was self-produced at home from start to finish with great love and care.

Special guest musicians Mathias Kunzli (percussion/drums), Peter Delgrosso (french horn), Domenica Fossati (flute), and Steve Whipple (upright bass) lend their extraordinary talents to this vibrant project, adding depth and richness to Musiquita’s unique sound.
