Which U.S. cities are setting the gold standard for quality of life? To mark July as National Park and Recreation Month, LawnStarter ranked 2024's Leading Cities for Quality of Life. We compared 500 of the biggest U.S. cities based on 16 categories. We considered life expectancy, unemployment rates, state rankings of workers’ rights, and food security among 53 total metrics. All 7 cities from the Land of 10,000 Lakes landed in the top half of our ranking, offering a higher quality of life. See how they stack up below.
