Country Artist and Songwriter Jillian Cardarelli releases a fresh remake of the timeless Elvis Presley classic hit “Can’t Help Falling in Love” available now on all streaming platforms.
Cardarelli’s melodic depiction of Elvis’ love song that captured hearts in 1961, honors the icon’s straightforward lyricism and soulful sound while highlighting her powerful and sultry vocals. The single is being released just in time for Elvis Week (August 9-17) as Cardarelli is slated to perform at Graceland for the first time.
“This song reminds us all of an uncontrollable and passionate feeling of falling for that special someone,” said Jillian Cardarelli. “Remaking Elvis’ famous love song was an honor for me because he’s always been such a huge influence in why I pursued a career in music. This song encapsulates the emotions of a simple yet unwavering romance along with the nostalgia of simpler times that I tend to emulate in my music, while paying tribute to his special talent for spreading love to others.”
Cardarelli explains her love for Elvis began as a young girl when she watched Aloha from Hawaii Concert TV Special with her dad. Not long after, she visited Graceland when she was six and returned often throughout her childhood and adulthood.
Cardarelli will fulfill a life-long dream this month as she performs at Elvis Week, where the King’s legacy is honored as thousands of fans from around the world come together to celebrate his life, music and movies during the annual event at Graceland.
Cardarelli will perform her popular single “If I Could Talk to Elvis,” which featured Larry Strickland, Elvis Presley’s background vocalist from The Stamps Quartet. The single, released last August, hit #1 Fan Voted Video on CMT 12-Pack Countdown with appearances on WSM’s Coffee, Country & Cody, Sirius XM Radio - Elvis Radio and she performed at the Nashville Elvis Festival.
This is Cardarelli’s seventh release in 2024 with no signs of slowing down, as she continues an exciting year of musical and television projects. Her single, "Waiting on the Sunrise" aired on the popular Fox TV series Farmer Wants a Wife (March) and she was recently the celebrity guest host for Tunnel to Towers Foundation's Never Forget Concert, a national television special featuring Jelly Roll.
This release is certain to be among her fan favorites like “Thinking and Driving,” “If We Were Strangers,” “Worth The Whiskey,” “Slow Song,” and “I Hate Chevys” that all garnered support from Apple Music, Spotify and Pandora this year.
“Can’t Help Falling in Love” is available now on Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, Amazon Music or anywhere you stream music. Be sure to catch all video releases on her Official YouTube Channel.
