I recently had a chance to review The Missing Piece: A Proven Method to Single-Handedly Transform Your Relationship and Create Harmony in Your Home . This book takes a different approach than a lot of other methods - it only looks at one person. The nice thing with that approach is that you aren't requiring anyone else to get on board, you're taking care of your own perspectives and actions. It's obviously not the right approach for every relationship (the authors are very up front about when it's not appropriate, such as abusive situations), but it can be a powerful method in many situations. It's worth a read if you're in a relationship of any kind that can use some improvement - not just romantic relationships, but other family relationships and even friendships!
