Music Minute - Tanner Adell: Don't Pet/Sample

Country-pop star Tanner Adell is setting Independence Day off with a bang, dropping her Don't Pet (Sampler), out now. The four-song collection comes as a gift to fans as they anxiously await the kickoff of her Giddy Up, Gorgeous Tour, beginning later this month. With all four tracks co-written by Adell, she unveils another slice into her “genre-bending sound, bold fashion choices and unapologetic demeanor" (People).

"Y'all weren't quiet about it,” said Adell to the fans. “You wanted new music, and I heard you loud and clear. Dropping these four tracks as a bundle and as a surprise felt right — it's for the fans who've been begging for more. I can't wait to bring these songs to life on stage for The Giddy Up, Gorgeous Tour. And the Bunnies have just enough time to learn every word so we can sing them together on the road.”

Presented by the official whisky partner Crown Royal, The Giddy Up, Gorgeous Tour will hit seven cities across the country including major markets like Nashville, Atlanta and Houston. This marks the second year of partnership between Adell and Crown Royal, who first teamed up during her breakout 2024 The Buckle Bunny Tour, which sold out within minutes of public onsale. Few tickets remain for The Giddy Up, Gorgeous Tour and can be purchased at bucklebunny.us.

"I can't wait to see all the Bunnies on The Giddy Up, Gorgeous Tour this summer!” expressed Adell. “It's not just about playing songs — it's about sharing stories, energy and real moments with the people who've been riding with me since day one. Crown Royal has also been with me since the beginning, so they were the perfect fit to continue this journey with. Pack your boots, your glitter and your heartbreak — this tour's about to be a full-blown emotional rodeo."

Deemed one of seven artists shaping the sound of 2024 by The New York Times with over 200M global streams and counting, the 2025 People Artist to Watch checked many items off her bucket list with a sold-out headlining tour, a collaboration with superstar Beyoncé, recognition from The New York TimesBillboardNPRTeen Vogue and more while bringing her patented brand of fierce femininity to the biggest domestic and international festivals. This year, she continues to solidify her place in the pop-country space, performing at the GLAAD Awards, presenting at Billboard Women In Music and touring at major festivals including Lollapalooza this summer. ABOUT TANNER ADELL:
Fusing country song craft with the self-confident swagger of hip hop and the unabashed excitement of pop, Tanner Adell has come a long way in a short few years – from her roots in California and Wyoming to Nashville's cutting edge. A bi-racial singer-songwriter who celebrated 2024 with her first headlining tour (The Buckle Bunny Tour) and a cultural-icon collaboration (joining Beyoncé for “BLACKBIIRD” on the Grammy winning album Cowboy Carter), Adell has earned recognition from The New York TimesBillboard and others, while bringing her patented brand of fierce femininity to stages across the US. Following her 2023 mixtape Buckle Bunny, and appearances on the 2024 BET Awards, Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, NFL's Christmas Day Halftime Show and more, a new chapter of personal artistry began with the single “Going Blonde.” Written by Adell alone on a Nashville barstool in May of 2022, “Going Blonde” brings new color to a distinctive country artist, who now wears her hair blonde in tribute to the mother she never met – and to the woman she has become. Her Don't Pet (Sampler) provides another example of a fearless creative force digging deep into her heart.
