The fastest growing hat brand Southern String Hat Co. is bringing their members together this holiday season to make a difference with their first-ever “SS Giving Tree,” an initiative featuring 50 different causes selected by members of “The Crew” – their subscribers. Members submitted missions that are near and dear to them from their local communities, with one cause selected per state to be featured on the website. Founders Austin “Richii” Richardson and Kevin Landry, along with their team, will visit select states over the holidays to personally deliver the items to the charities, underscoring a culture built around genuine connection and a family-first mindset.   Causes range from organizations like Shop with a Cop, Toys for Tots and children's hospitals to personal causes like angel trees and helping local families in need. Each state's selection can be found on Southern String's website, linking to an Amazon wishlist for each state where the public can directly purchase items in need. For those who would like to participate and make a purchase, an order deadline of this Friday, Dec. 19 is recommended for items to arrive to organizers in time to deliver for Christmas.

Launched last week through the members, the “SS Giving Tree” has seen communities coming together in no time, already completing wishlists for 15+ states for organizations like Girl Scouts of America in North Carolina, Operation Toy Train in New York, Adopt a Family in Illinois, Truth In Nature in Louisiana and more. No stranger to supporting the communities of their members, Southern String has led with philanthropy at its core since their inception, most notably raising $70,000 in 24 hours for hurricane relief in Charlotte, N.C. in 2024.   Southern String Hat Co. was first launched in 2023 from the seat of an excavator and now ships custom-designed limited-edition hats monthly to their members, The Crew, selling out every month.
