Book Nook - Perfectly Polly

In Perfectly Polly, Polly Possum aspires to be splendid. Spectacular, even! The problem is, from Polly’s point of view, she’s too plain a possum to be at all appealing. Now, Polly has a plan to put herself out there! She will put on a performance, play all the parts, and pretend she’s practically anything except her pedestrian persona. Yet as the presentation proceeds, Polly approaches an epiphany: perhaps people don’t perceive her as a plain possum after all!

Chandra Tracey is a caring individual at heart. She has been married for twenty-four years and is a mother of two grown children. She holds a bachelor’s degree in cognitive studies and a master’s degree in early childhood education. Residing in Virginia Beach, Virginia, she has been working with children for over twenty-five years. As a kindergarten teacher, Chandra constantly seeks new ways to make learning enjoyable and interactive. She has had a passion for writing since she was a child, and after becoming a parent, she dreamed of also becoming a children’s book author. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.
