Following the end of the hit television series Aida, the movie Aida y Vuelta brings one of Spain’s most beloved characters to the big screen in a heartfelt and humorous story about family, resilience, and starting over.
When her father dies, Aída inherits the old family home and moves in with her two children. Struggling financially, she is forced to work as a cleaning lady while sharing the house with her mother and her brother — turning daily life into a constant mix of chaos, laughter, and tenderness.
Directed by Paco León, this film reunites the iconic characters and familiar settings of the series, expanding their stories with greater emotional depth. Blending comedy with relatable social themes, Aida y Vuelta connects with audiences through its warm humor, strong female lead, and universal portrayal of family bonds, economic struggle, and the strength found in sticking together.
