Top 10 Dog Park Cities Boise, Idaho Portland, Oregon San Francisco Las Vegas Henderson, Nevada Colorado Springs, Colorado Tampa, Florida Albuquerque, New Mexico Miami, Florida Arlington, Virginia How we ranked the cities: For the 100 U.S. cities with data available, we considered the number of dog parks per 100,000 residents, access to Sniffspot rentals, and dog park ratings. New York City (No. 12) claims the most top-rated (4.5+ star) dog parks, with 19, which is almost 2X more than the next-best city, Portland, with 10.  Residents of Denver (No. 40) had the highest demand for dog parks in 2025 based on local Google searches adjusted by 100,000 residents.
